Data Deletion Instructions

When you message a Facebook Page connected to our store system, we store message rows so authorized staff can answer you. We also store the Page-scoped contact identifier assigned by Meta and a conversation record with a latest-message preview of up to 120 characters. A legacy contact record may also contain a profile name previously returned by Meta, but the current integration does not request profile data. Attachment rows contain the attachment type and a reference to the Meta content URL; we do not keep a local copy of the attachment file.

How to request deletion

  1. Send a message to the same Facebook Page saying you want your messaging data deleted, or email accountingMBSh@magicianbilliards.com.
  2. Tell us the profile name or account you contacted us from and the Facebook Page you messaged, so we can locate the right data.
  3. An operator manually reviews the request. We verify it through the relevant social account or ask for enough information to reasonably confirm your identity. Sending an email does not trigger automatic deletion.
  4. Once verified, we aim to complete the manual deletion within 30 days and confirm when it is finished. It covers eligible message rows, contact identifier and any legacy profile name, conversation records and previews, and attachment metadata and URL references.

What happens automatically

Even without a request, each message row is automatically removed 90 days after it was created. Its message text and attachment type and URL reference are removed with that row. The contact identifier, any legacy profile name, conversation record, and latest-message preview are not removed by the automatic message-row process; those are included in the verified manual deletion process above. Feedback contact details are handled under a separate six-month retention rule.

What we must keep

Sales records and official receipts are kept as required by Philippine bookkeeping law and cannot be deleted on request. These contain purchase records, not your social media conversations.
